This evening workshop includes dinner, tasting, pairing, chocolate truffle making and exploration all rolled into a night out with your Valentine… think champagne-style ciders, hand rolled chocolate truffles, French-style crepes and expert culinary guidance. You’ll leave with recipes, pairing notes, a full belly, an engaged palate and a renewed love for unique and well-crafted food.
Claire Benjamin is a Certified Professional Master in Confectionery, trained by Quebec's Master Chocolatier and Technical Director at Le Cordon Bleu Paris Laurent Pagès. The Finger Lakes Cider House at Good Life Farm is the home tasting room for four orchard-based cideries. The Cider House features the exquisite terroir of the Finger Lakes, the craft of small farms and deep study and the fun of innovation.
Tickets are $65 per person and include Claire’s chocolate workshop and materials, truffles to take home, a recipe booklet, dinner from the Cider House creperie and a full flight of Valentines and chocolate paired champagne-style ciders.
MENU NOTE: YES, this will have a semi-fixed menu HOWEVER we will be polling attendees who are signed up by Feb 1 to build the menu around dietary needs. THE MENU WILL BE BASED ON PARTICIPANT RESPONSES! Aside from dairy, we will be able to accommodate your dietary need, just let us know what it is when you sign up!
